Fíona is a 25 year old multi-instrumentalist and primary school teacher from Shankill in County Dublin, long associated with the Craobh Chualann Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. Equally proficient on fiddle, tin whistle and flute, she has won numerous awards on each instrument at national level. Taking up her main love, the fiddle, at the age of nine, her many musical influences helped her in developing her own personal style.
Fíona has performed at many national and international events as both a soloist and ensemble performer and her music has brought her all over the world, including Britain, the USA, Canada, France and Spain. Most recently she was part of the Comhaltas tour group 2015/2016. Closer to home she has performed in many prestigious events in locations such as the National Concert Hall and Dublin Castle.
Fíona is currently working on a fiddle and concertina/pipes duet album with long-term musical friend Tim Doyle, which they hope to release in early-2017.
