Interesting concept for an adjustable violin chinrest

I'm not sure if this has been discussed here or not yet.  It seems like a pretty neat idea, sort of along the lines of the Bon Musica shoulder rest.  Hopefully I'm not breaking a rule by mentioning it. More

What do you find to be the hardest thing about playing the bodhran? Do you just play traditional (hornpipes, jigs, reels etc...) or do you find yourself inventing your own style of play? How did you get interested in the bodhran?
