120 Irish Radio Broadcasters now partnering with Tradconnect for album downloads

The launch of our Download Centre in June 2015 has been an outstanding success.  The Download Centre is a private area on Tradconnect where pre-approved broadcasters can download the latest traditional albums for free.  To 120 broadcasters are participating and all are gaining access to new albums as they are released.

Over 100 albums have already been added, and in addition to the album, we also include the liner notes and links to other content by the artist.  This has resulted in close to 37,000 downloads by broadcasters from Ireland, USA, UK, Australia and elsewhere.

In addition to the Download Centre we also post up a ‘Worldwide Album Launch’ article to announce the arrival of the album, which we also feed back out to our various social media channels. This is all part of a strategy of linking our content with a broadcasters ability to broadcast immediately.

As an artist it is critical to reach new audiences, through new channels, and this initiative achieves this very important goal. This Download Centre is open to all albums in the general Celtic genre, with a strong emphasis on Irish traditional music.

If you wish to participate as a broadcaster, writer or musician email us at the following address for more details.  tradconnect@gmail.com

Great stuff

I, for one, have found this invaluable for listening to albums before doing interviews with bands/musicians.
