Event Description

MAD Week is a week-long celebration of traditional Irish instrumental and vocal music and dance taking place the week of July 7-11th at Cedar Lane Unitarian Church in Bethesda (a suburb of Washington, DC).   

Instrumental, vocal and dance classes twice daily, mornings 10-11:30 a.m. and afternoons from 1:30-3 p.m.   Extended lunch hour allows for participation in electives.   Daily faculty recitals and public faculty concert on Wednesday evening.

Fiddle:   Liz Carroll to lead master class teaching her tunes

Advanced:  Brian Conway & Brendan Mulvihill

Celtic Roots of Appalachian Music workshop by Cleek Schrey; Dylan Foley, Graham Dezarn, Eamon Coyne, Donna Long, et. al. round out fiddle faculty;
