The Executive Session is an ensemble brought together by flutist

The Executive Session         Thursday        April 4        Knickerbocker Taproom          Westerly   8:00pm                

Michael "Skip" McKinley. Their music is a blend of Irish, Scottish, American tradition and original. It is rare that this breadth of music is interpreted on 1850’s granadilla wood flute and fiddle. WIth ballads from guitarist and singer Greg Bacon, this concert will be one you will not forget.

Skip has released two CD albums “The Executive Session” and “Fairytales” and is about to release the third titled “Live at La Grua.”

Dan Foster grew up in Northern England and developed his music in the lively session scene there. He studied music at Newcastle University and tours the US with both the band Daymark and Caravan of Thieves

Greg Bacon has been making music on fife, flute, whistle, tenor banjo and guitar for over three decades. He has played all over the world also writes music including a collection released in 2016 called ‘the Last Chorus” and a new collection called “Sea over Bow” which was released in July 2018.
