Part of Temple Bar Tradfest:
The very definition of ‘Radical Trad’, Lynched make a sound that is defiantly theirs. Their music mines a rich seam where traditional songs and urban ballads sit cheek-by-jowl with the popular entertainments of the music hall. These self-styled ‘Dublin folk miscreants’ draw from a deep pool of influences and present them with a youthful vigour and salty wit. Originally formed around the core of brothers Ian and Darragh Lynch they have expended their line up to accommodate the considerable talents of Cormac Dermody and Radie Peat. Rambunctious, raucous and real, this is a live act of foot-stomping power and unpredictable energy.
