Dublin folk miscreants Lynched will be performing closer to D4 than ever before this June, with an intimate concert in the Sugar Club, on one of the Dublin's sauciest thoroughfares, Leeson Street.
With their heady mix of bawdy Dublin street songs and droning traditional ballads, this exciting quartet have been garnering a considerable amount of attention recently, as well as invitations to some of the world's largest folk festivals, including Sidmouth and Edmonton. Hobbies include music and socialising. They also enjoy long walks on the beach and Kenny G.
Joining them on the night will be one of Dublin's finest young singers and traditional musicians, John Flynn. Although possibly more well known as part of exciting new traditional group Skipper's Alley, John's solo songs and tunes have been described as "a real treat" by such luminaries as Old Mr. Brennan and Twink.
