Event Description

The weekly slow session for Irish tunes continues this Saturday afternoon, at the New York Irish Center. Drop by to share some tunes - all instruments and levels welcome!

Again, this is a session geared towards beginners, so if you ever feel that the speed is too fast, just ask - most folks don't mind slowing down a bit.

On a related note, if you want to start playing at a faster pace, you should head over to Dempsey's (61 2nd Avenue) on Tuesday nights (8pm onwards). Great musicians, friendly atmosphere, big space and beer!

- Location for the Saturday slow session: New York Irish Center,1040 Jackson Ave, Long Island City (first stop in Queens after Grand Central Station on the 7 train). Head downstairs to library.
