Event Description

We will be meeting up for another holiday slow session this Saturday afternoon at NYIC. So drop by to share some tunes/songs - all instruments and levels welcome!

Again, this is a session geared towards learning musicians. Some of us play with sheet music, but you're encouraged to (try) pick it up by ear as well. There aren’t many rules, so feel free to play at a slower pace or choose an unknown tune/song. Just make sure you know the entire tune (so others can learn from you).

- Location for the Saturday slow session: New York Irish Center, 1040 Jackson Ave, Long Island City (first stop in Queens after Grand Central Station on the 7 train). Head downstairs to library.

- Time: 1:30pm-4pm

- Cost: FREE (or few dollars to show our appreciation for amenities)

- Good Slow Tunes Resource - http://www.toraigh.com/slowsessions.html

- Tunelist (just suggestions, you can still play what you know): https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en&fromgroups#!topic/slowsession/zXAZSnhFZHA
