The weekly slow session continues this saturday afternoon at NYIC. We've been having a nice turnout lately (around 5-6 musicians), so hope it keeps going.
As mentioned last time, we have a couple of new suggestions for practice tunes - Bill Malley's & Kilnamona Barndance. Here are links for sheet music & recordings -

Again, this is a session geared towards beginners. So if you ever feel like the speed is too much, just ask and folks wouldn't mind slowing it down a little. On a related note, if you want to start playing at a faster pace, you should head over to Dempsey's on Tuesday nights (8pm onwards). Great musicians, friendly atmosphere, big space!
Also, if you can't make it saturday, there's a slightly faster (yet relaxed and friendly) session on sunday at NYIC on sunday afternoon (4-7pm). Lots of good music (and munchies!)
