Traditional Irish Music
The weekly slow session continues this Saturday, June 2, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the New York Irish Center (the first stop in Queens after Grand Central).
Our practice tunes for this month - Bill Malley's & Kilnamona Barndance. Here are links for sheet music & recordings -
Again, this is a session geared towards beginners. So if you ever feel like the speed is too much, just ask and folks wouldn't mind slowing it down a little. On a related note, if you want to start playing at a faster pace, you should head over to Dempsey's on Tuesday nights (8pm onwards). Great musicians, friendly atmosphere, big space!
