Event Description

Catch the Kitchen Party this weekend, as part of CULTURE DAYS! It's happening this Saturday afternoon at the University of Guelph, Rm. 107 McKinnon Building. Riverside Celtic College is hosting a series of interactive musical events this fall, called the Kitchen Party, and this is the next one...not to be missed. It’s a fun celebration of Irish/Scottish music with lively, toe-tapping trad music, performed by some of the finest trad musicians in Canada: fiddler Dan MacDonald, bodhran player Jacob McCauley and multi-instrumentalist Brian Taheny! They’ll be playing some cracking jigs and reels that will be sure to get your feet moving, and we’ll even have a ceili (country dance) with our wonderful Irish caller, Siobhan Harrop. Hope to see you there! All ages welcome.

This event has been generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, and is free of charge. More info: evamccauley@sympatico.ca
