Tommy and Saundra O'Sullivan are coming back to Worcester and will be appearing in a special Sunday afternoon concert at 2 pm on November 4, 2018 at the Hibernian Cultural Centre, 19 Temple Street Worcester.
Acclaimed as "one of the great contemporary folk voices of Ireland," and "a stellar guitarist," Tommy O'Sullivan has toured throughout North America and Europe, appearing at major venues and festivals. In addition to two solo albums he has recorded three albums as a member of Sliabh Notes and a duet album with the legendary Bothy Band piper, Paddy Keenan.
2018 saw the release of Tommy and Saundra's first album together, "Safe Home". It is a wonderful mix of contemporary and traditional songs with beautiful harmonies and instrumental accompaniment from some of Ireland's finest musicians.
The O’Sullivans are also the owners of O'Sullivan's Courthouse Pub in Dingle. Since its opening, O’Sullivan’s Courthouse Pub, its reputation for world class traditional Irish music has gone through the roof. And, in 2015 “National Geographic” cited O’Sullivan’s Courthouse Pub as the ‘go to’ pub on Ireland’s “Wild Atlantic Way”. Also, Sky Scanner listed the pub as number 8 in the top 10 music pubs of Ireland and TripAdvisor lists O’Sullivan’s Courthouse Pub as number one nightlife attraction in Dingle with a 5-star rating.
Tickets for the concert are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets and ticket information can be obtained from Bud Sargent at (508) 868-7552 firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets will be available on line at www.coolbawnroadconcerts.com and at Fiddlers Green.
