Group Creators Required.

With the Group Feature now turned on TradConnect is looking for members who may be interested in setting up a group for their County, State, or Country. What we are aiming for is a TradConnect group for every county in Ireland, every state in the USA, every region in the UK. Beyond that we are looking for a TradConnect group for every other Country.

 

Why Do It.

Setting up a group is a great way to become the center of activity in your county, state or country. As a networking tool it is very powerful. Getting to know hundreds of musicians that you would not previously have known. Helping in connecting them, working with other musicians in other parts of your area. This is what TradConnect is all about. Your group will become the home for everything traditional in your county or state. You can also consider running it with some friends, with everyone inputting into keeping it up to date.

 

If you think you have the interest and desire, then take the plunge. It will be very rewarding.

Yes Martin. I didnt mention above but it is also a good idea for a few to get together and manage the group. There can be a bit involved in for example, getting a comprehensive list of sessions in Galway.

I'd be happy to list sessions from West Clare - Say from Kilfenora, Doolin, Lehinch, Lisdoonvarna, Ennistymon, Milltown. That would be about the extent of my reach.

I think we will need a team for NYC. We have a good few in from NYC and NY. Only launched the group feature recently so will wait for suitably motivated individuals to take that one on.
