Traditional Irish Music
A friend told me about this guy who has a garage full of musical instruments and gear plus bikes, fishing rods etc. for sale. He buys/ swaps stuff if people are selling/ trading.
The garage is a 1 minute walk down on Arbour hill road from Manor street Dublin 7, just past Sorrento take away on the left hand side of the street. If you reach lilliput stores and you haven't seen the garage yet, you've gone too far.
He only opens on Saturday from 10-2pm.
The garage is piled high with instruments and gear, some in good condition, and some in not so good condition. I wouldn't buy anything without first getting a friend with good knowledge of the instrument to vet it first, but someone might find a bargain in there!
I just had a quick glance around the place last weekend. There were a few button accordions, piano accordions, a 5 string and 6 string banjo, loads of guitars, acoustic and electric, mandolins, keyboards, Marshall guitar amps, and I think he has a melodeon or two and PA equipment. He showed me what he said were a practice set of Scottish pipes. Dunno if they're bagpipes or small pipes.
Anyway, just thought I'd pass it on!
