Cast Bore flutes are instruments that have a wooden body, but the bore of the instrument is cast into the wood, using a special resin. This flute has a strong, warm sound, requires little maintenance, and stands up well to all kinds of weather. Played regularly for about a year, I bought it as a starter instrument and graduated to a keyed flute. It comes with a fleece-lined case. Flute is in NYC.
