With membership growing we are looking for members who may be interested in setting up a group for their county, state or country. These groups do not have to be a centre of activity just yet. What they do is act as a central registration of musicians in each area.

With time they can become a great centre of communication. Imagine having access to every musician in your county. For organising gigs, posting info re trad in your county, starting sessions, finding musicians.

Once we have groups for every county/state etc we can then get all members to join their home county. This really puts the power in the hands of the members and provides  a central point for organising activities in your county.

So if you think you are up for it, start now and add a group.

Check HERE for a list of our existing groups and if we dont have one for your location consider starting one.

Tony, is Ohio really the HQ for Colorado?

Likewise, are Brazil & Scotland now just provinces of Sweden?

Given the upcoming Scottish Referendum, I think some Scots might just have a wee something to say about that!

;-)

Cheers,

Dick

Have you been eating those Antrim mushrooms again Dick. Your starting to lose me....

Click on the links in your message Tony & you'll see what I'm getting at.

Cheers,

Dick

Hi Tony, I'll try and get a Berlin thing up and running. It will have a Scottish touch mind. All the best, Neil.

Yes, starting up a group in Meander, Tasmania, Australia. Just slow and intermediate sessions cause Tasmania already has two good full speed sessions up and running, one at the Royal Oak, Launceston and The New Sydney Hotel in Hobart. Fleadh Ceol 2012 will be at The New Sydney 9-11th March presented by The Irish Association of Tasmania

All the best,

Louisa

Sorry, could you clarify that for me? would your session be open to membership from people of all nationalities who have a love of this music?

I'm just thinking that with a London location, and this being a global website, you may get many other members from around the world passing through your area.
