My name is Darren and I co-create a new Irish Music Podcast called the Blarney Pilgrims (www.blarneypilgrims.com) that I think you’ll like. Whether you’re a seasoned pro when it comes to trad, or you’re like me, and you’re simply starting to learn about the music and the culture around it, there is something for everyone in here. The show runs like this: each week we take an hour to sit down and have a few tunes and a chat with players and ask them how and why they fell in love with the music. These weekly stories give us a brief glimpse behind the curtain, and shows us what really drives this music and the people behind the culture. It’s actually quite a special thing.
