A lovely tune on Clare Mc Kenna's Tin whistle tutor book.

Are tunes like this normally played in sessions though?

Well, i don't find it "unsuitable" for a session anyway?

i'm inexperienced in sessions. Does it depend on who is playing in the sessions as to weather or not Long dances and set dances are played? I like the rhythm of them

I have heard/played 'Ace and deuce of pipering' and 'The Blackbird' at sessions (along with all known types of tunes and songs :)

Hello. I love this set dance, too, though I haven't played it at sessions, yet.

I recorded it last year, using an antique flute.

The Lodge Road (set dance) - Flute Solo

I hope you enjoy it...
