the pavees irish trad group played in slatterys capel street 7 nights a week in a traditional music club a mixture of keenans/fureys mick moriarty  outstanding music uillean pipes to the fore one night we had 4 uillean pipers guest artists tony mcmahon matt molloy michael o donaill  miko russel the club was renowned for having some of the greatest artists in trad music all 

from ireland  they made appearences on tony mcmahons ag deanam ceoil christy moore sow rte radio ceili house 2 times brendan breatnac professional critic ceoil magazine said the pavees were the greatest trad group of that era plating travelling style music evidence on paddy keenan gallery mick moriarty
