For fun, I thought we might start a list, to see which are the most popular makes & models of Tenor Banjo, to be owned & played, amongst our members here.

As you post your replies, I'll add the name of the Banjo or Banjos you play & also your name to our list below.

Cheers,

Dick

Orpheum 2

Paramount B!

I play a 1925 Vega Professional, so add me to the list.

An Epiphone A and Paramount F

Oh, I Forgot.

I also have a 1920's Guckert (not very well-known, but quite a famous tone-ring)

an old Framus. Both of them I really don't play that often since I got my Vega.

Deering Goodtime 2

I play an Ashbury AB-65T

Royal Artist style B, Bruno NY

W.L Lange Royal Artist

I have

   Ibanez Hunter BJ240

Peter B. Petersen (Danish made banjo from 1962)

   Framus (Charlie Piggott model)

The Framus being played most these days.

I'm learning on a borrowed Ludwig Columbia I hope to own someday.

Epiphone Recording A, Gibson Earl Scruggs, Paramount C and Deering Maple Blossom.  Paramount C and Deering Maple Blossom is now for sale!
