Great news. We have now added a feature to the site to allow you upload music onto the site. You can upload any tunes in the .mp3 format to the music on your profile page. If your tunes aren't in the .mp3 format, you'll need to convert them before they'll work on Tradconnect. This is a great way to promote you albums if you are willing to share a track or two.

To upload music, go to your Music Player on your My Page and click the "Add Music" link.

Then, just click the "Click to Add Music" icon to select which songs you'd like to upload from your computer. If you want to select multiple songs at a time, just hold down the "Control" (PC) or "Command" (Mac) key on your keyboard and click the extra tunes. Songs you've chosen to upload will display as a list on your network.

After you add one batch, you can add even more tunes to the list with the "Add More" link, and remove some using the "X" link to the right of each tune. Once you're ready to upload, click the "Upload" button.

Once you’ve uploaded your tunes, you can add information about the songs like a title and artist name. Click "Save" when you're finished. When this is complete, you will be able to edit your playlist and re-order the tunes in your music player. Click "Done" when this is complete.

Edit Your Music Playlist

You can change the order of the tunes on your profile page, delete tunes, or edit tunes at any time. Head to your profile page and locate your music player. Click the "Edit Playlist" link.

To change a tune's information or upload an album cover, click the "Edit" link. To remove a tune from your profile page, click the "Delete" link. To change the order of tunes, just drag and drop them to the desired order.

Adjust Music Player Settings

You can adjust the settings for your personal Music Player by navigating to My Page and clicking the "Edit" button next to the Music Player.

If you'd like visitors to see the playlist, you can select the "Show Playlist" option. You can also choose to always have the playlist shuffle by selecting "Shuffle Playlist". Selecting the "Autoplay" option means that your playlist will start playing automatically any time someone visits your profile page.

The options on the right hand side of the control bar allow you to switch from normal playback mode to "repeat playlist" mode or even turn on "shuffle" to randomize the tracks you hear. You can also pop the Music Player out into its own window by clicking the "Open in Popup Window" button so that songs continue to play while you're browsing Tradconnect.
