Is iad na grúpaí a tháinig trí chóras réamhbhabhtaí le bheith ar ardán ag an mórócáid seo ná ‘Léargas’, Contae Thiobraid Árann, ‘Lonrach’, Contae Laoise,  ‘Finscéal’, Contae Luimnigh, ‘Cuisle’, Contae an Chláir, ‘Aontacht’, Contae Shligigh, ‘Tigh Tara’, Coláiste Loreto, Cúil Raithin, Contae Dhoire,  agus dhá ghrúpa ó Chontae Mhaigh Eo,  ‘Siar’ agus ‘Ildánach’.

Le duaischiste de €4,500, is féidir a bheith ag súil le géariomaíocht agus ardchaighdeán ceoil ar an oíche agus beidh jab deacair le déanamh ag na moltóirí, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Bernadette Nic Gabhann agus Seán McElwain.

The cream of young Irish traditional musical and singing talent will take to the National Concert Hall  stage on Sunday, 7 April next for the Siansa Gael Linn 2019 final.  This is the climax of the competition which is organized annually by Gael Linn,  and this year’s final  will see close contest between eight groups from Counties Derry, Tipperary, Limerick, Clare, Mayo, Sligo, and Laois, for a prizefund of €4,500,  

Siansa nurtures the stars of the future, and previous participants  include Niamh Dunne ( Beoga ), Neil Ní Chróinín ( Danú ), Radie Peat  (Lankum ), The Bonnymen, along with Sligo’s own ‘Moxie’ and acclaimed singer,  Niamh Farrell, who now perform on stages worldwide !
