Guitar Cords in DADGAD or Dropped D

Would anyone have a good guide to guitar cords in DADGAD or Dropped d, by Key with good cord progressions, alternative positions etc. Can only find the Michael Eskin one's online. Most guides don't do it for trad in the most popular Keys of D, G, Em, Am. Also don't want to be constrained by a capo, but most DADGAD players seem unable to operate without the capo.

Coming into this thread pretty late here, but I'd recommend Brian Miller's DADGAD resources. Brian is the guitar and bouzouki player in the band Bua, and is a heck of a good backer.

I've been working off of this John Doyle DVD. I recently read an interview where he talks about playing in DADGAD but in this he uses dropped D using some of the standard tuning shapes and gets by without a capo. He teaches very quickly which I like (none of the "I started learning the guitar when I was blah blah mess in' about like you see in a lot of youtube tutorials). But you can pause it and get the hang of things and then move on. It's working for me at sessions. Hope it's of some help...

Even without a lot of theory knowledge you can employ a three chord trick but the dropped D gives the tone of your backup a nice feel.
