The sound of Mícheál's beautiful music competing with "The Wild Rover" from, presumably, the main stage is a sonic microcosm of what's happening with the commercialisation of traditional music. I know Mícheál was a professional musician himself but he never debased the tradition for commercial acceptability.

Tribute to Mícheál's beautiful music : my transcription from his playing on "Lord Franklin" in DADGAD tuning.

Hope you like it.
