That's some really cool stuff Hilvert, Tony can really do it all can't he? Him and Brendan Power really are the two harmonica players for folk music that creatively inspire me the most.

Well guys, I have had a bit of a strange time lately... Tried to run a harmonica club in my area in the Midlands, but things didn't quite work out the way I had hoped, so after just over a Year of trying quite desperately, it turned out to be a group of guys that ONLY wanted to play the Blues on diatonics. So... I gave up and left them to it.  Gave my website a bit of an Overhaul, mostly in making my intentions much clearer, and started All over again.  And we are having our First meet-up in a Week or so...  New players, chromatics only, and a different approach. And things look very promising at last... I'm Very happy.  Have a look if You want:  http://coventry-harmonica.co.uk

Our Facebook Group is called "Harmonica Orchestra Coventry",  a very ambitious name maybe, but let's Go for it and see what we can achieve...

The plan is to play All sorts of music, as long as it's Not Blues...... That's the spirit.  Just thought I'd share this with You all.

I actually slowed down a little and now I'm speeding up again. I found a traditional irish player in the Netherlands that plays mostly tunes from O'Carolan. I'll try to get him in the group as well.

The amount of people playing trad harp in my area is a bit depressing to be honest, it's nice when you have people around that you can learn from/with/to. However I did find some flute/guitar players that are into Irish trad music as well.
How's everyone else doing?
