Of course there is not, nor never could be, a Best Player, but my own personal favourite player is John Carty, but there are so many different styles used in the playing of the Tenor Banjo in Irish music, that everyone has their own favourite.
So here's a list of some of the most popular Tenor Banjo players today, with links to a video of their playing, so perhaps they can help you decide who your favourite player is.
