My sticks. All are 7/8" diameter, 10" long. Left is made from barbeque skewers; next is my main tipper, just a hardwood stick; next is the same with leather stretched over the ends; right is made from broom straw. Above is the wrench I use to reach in and adjust the tuners. Above left is a hunk of beeswax, very handy for rubbing over the stick so it doesn't slip out of the hand to fly away and catch the star fiddler in the eye.
