Handed Down Sat Oct 19 “ Kerry Music recorded in New York 1950’s” Denis Murphy and Corneilus O Sullivan presented by Bryan O Leary
In April of 2019 a shoebox of old reel to reel recordings which were found in the attic of Denis Murphy’s house in Lisheen Gneeveguilla were donated to the Handed Down Sliabh Luachra Archives by Michael Sheehan a nephew of Denis’s wife Julia Mary . One of the tapes covers contained the words Denis and Corneilus in the Bronx from Charlie Mulvihill and Denis’s New York address which suggests that Charlie Mulvihill taped it and posted it to Denis .
