Hello!  I am a singer and bouzouki player.  I sing Irish Gaelic and other assorted traditional Celtic songs at festivals, pubs, concert halls, etc.  I am mostly a solo artist, but I love playing with flute, bagpipe, fiddle, harmony singers, etc, etc.

Hi Abby, My name is Danny (Dhomhniall). I just started a "Sean Nos: Traditional Irish Singers" group on TradConnect. Tony Lawless just joined and suggested I invite you to do the same. Please consider being a member of this new group. I'm hoping that it will grow in leaps and bounds. Cheers, Danny

Hi Abby. Singing is traditional and was probably there long before the music. Listened to your songs and they are great. I also sing myself and always have song at our sessions. Sadly I have drawn a very hard and cruel line in the sand. In the start up phase of a site its important to have a focus, identity. Introducing song as well would open up some serious quality control issues as I would have to become a judge and jury on what is and is not acceptable, thus upsetting many members. Why did I allow A and not B. As it is with the instrumental, unless the quality production is bad, the majority of videos are approved.  So stick with the site. As we grow we will find some way. Tony

HI Abby,

good to see another bouzouki player!  Did you enjoy zoukfest?

A ggod friend of mine, Peter Hill was there perhaps you met?

Did you get any lessons off Luke Plumb - one of the finest musicians I have ever met?

Would love to attend next year but bit of a trek from Ireland - think I better start saving!
