Hi Aine, actually I am trying to learn some of your tunes already. It will take some time. Glad you are so generous with your music. I really love all the tunes but my absolute favourite is the set on track no. 2. and especially the last reel Lady of the Hollow.
Yes, I really hope I shall be able to visit Co. Clare during 2015.
Yes, Aine, I discovered your album through Tradconnect. I have been a member for about one year. Before, I used to go to Ireland and Co. Clare every year for the music and visiting friends but I haven´t had the opportunity for some time for family reasons. So, following Tradconnect is an excellent alternative.
Hi Aine, arrived back from the west last night and now feeling like a soggy lettuce leaf! But it was a lovely trip and we visited a few good friends, yourselves included. As usual, experienced some great tunes, some even written down! Thanks for recommending the site, which I am now exploring with pleasure. Will have a serious go at your tunes today. Watch this space. Talk soon. Mike
Hi Aine, good to know that your a trad connect veteran ! Looking forward to hooking up and keeping up to date with like minded individuals on here. The Teetotallers tour was really lovely and mighty craic too. We'll be togging out again for a May tour of the States and planning to record then too.
I've also finished a new solo CD "Carrying the Tune" that should be available later in the week. Do you think it would be ok to mention that on the trad connect site? Or would it be a little cheeky given that I only signed up yesterday?
Would be nice to just be a contributor for a while before I do the "hard sell" thingy.
Many thanks for you kind comments ref Jacky Tar and The King of The Fairies. I know you know your way around this tooting business so your comments mean quite a lot to me.
KOTF - there seem to be loads of different settings for it, so the version you know might be a bit different. The one I play was sent to me by Charlie - from Virginia
There is a better vesion - with Joe from Dulahan giving me a guitar backing - its buried in the blogs on here somewhere. Tony has this ruling about slide shows not being allowed in the main video section but there's not a lot else you can do with me in Derbyshire and Joe in Kildare! - its a good slide show too - better than my ugly mug any day of the week.

Hi Aine, well I think you are very kind. I looked like my Dad for five minutes but I'm heading for his Dad. :-)
Hope all are well,
Mike
