I'm not sure if you have already checked out the "groups" on tradconnect, but we have a whistling group that may interest you and I have a group for O'Carolan that you might enjoy - he wrote some great tunes!

Hi Amy. Yeah, our band Nine-8ths Irish is (was?) based in Sacramento, CA, and since Chris and I live here in Texas now, it's tough to keep the band going. We have one more gig coming up in September in Grass Valley, CA, but other than that we don't have anything scheduled. Kathy is a great guitar player, and one of my favorite people ever, I'm glad you discovered her videos.
