I play standard tuning but am interested in e.g. dop D, DADGAD and open G. Also tried my hand at banjo and mandoline but did not get very far. Enjoying it anyway and loving a good session (some excellent young players coming through here in Tipp)

Many thanks for you kind comments on my attempt (without satefty net!) on St Annes reel. I particularly thank you for mention of my timing which, as I play chiefly alone, is always a cause of concern! As for tone, that is my 25+ year old Feadog whistle - now you know why its my favourite!
