Oh,....by the way,...do ye play the Harp??? How long???
Hi Christi, Thanks for the "Friend Invite" and for sharing your 5 photos. Very nice. If ye ever get a chance to go back to Ireland don't do a tour. Be brave and get a car. Do some research and make your own itinerary. Irish Tourism Board has a great listing of exquisite B&Bs. Get to meet and stay with some fine people. My wife and I only stayed in a hotel on our first night arriving in Dublin. After that, we stayed on farms, homes and one night in a castle (for the romance and to be able to say we did). The freedom of moving or staying when and where you wish was great,...and the locals reacted differently to "one on one" meetings as opposed to a busload of tourists pulling into a pub. Not to take anything away from your trip,...which I'm sure you enjoyed,....there's no reason why you can't go back on your own terms (save, save, save!!!!! $$$$$). And don't forget LOTTO!!! May the luck o' the Irish be upon ye!!! Cheers,
Danny
Hey Christi,
Yes,....good memories indeed!!! When did you go to Ireland? My wife and I went in 2007 and have been planning a return ever since, but money seems to vanish when you really want to do something nice for yourself (kids graduating college, kids moving into an apartment, kids moving out of an apartment and back home: blink, blink, shudder!!!, kids finding a job, kids losing a job, house repairs, car repairs, etc.,.....I think you get the idea). Please feel free to click on my icon to view all of my photos,....most from Ireland's trip. Oh, and by the way,....you have a lovely smile. Keep smiling!!! Cheers,
Danny
Hiya Christi,
Thanks for the comment you offered about my picture. YES,....to the best of my memory this scupture IS at the Rock of Cashel, just outside the theatre. I'm uploading some others (close-ups, different camera angles). Hope you enjoy them. Cheers & good health,
Danny
