Danny Collins, is from Rosscarbery in County Cork. He started playing at the age of seven and has been highly involved in the Traditional music circuit since. He plays many instruments, with Piano Accordion being his main one.
Danny has played at many festivals both nationwide and abroad. These include the Festival Interceltique, Lorient.

He has had great success in the Fleadh Cheoil's winning the All Ireland title on Piano Accordion in 2007,2008,2011 and more recently he has won the senior title this summer in Derry both in Piano Accordion and Mandolin.

Danny is now studying on the BA Irish Music and Dance at the University of Limerick and teaches music weekly. He also plays for dancers regularly.
