What Instrument ( inc Voice ) Do You Play ?: Viola as my primary instrument. Also working on the tin whistle and low whistle.

What level are you at ?: Beginner

Provide any other information here: I am originally from the USA, but now I reside in Japan with my Japanese husband. I took up the Japanese koto and before that the shamisen for a couple years, but decided to take a break and go back to my viola roots. I hear viola isn't a great fiddle for ITM, but I'd like to see if I can prove that wrong. I decided to make viola my focus, but I'll find some time to learn the tin and low whistles. I love the Irish flute too, but I don't think I'll be able to give it the time and dedication it needs. I'm sure the whistles will keep me happy. (^-^)

I hope I can make Irish trad friends online and here in Japan, and I hope someday I can visit Ireland to play my music, and meet my family there. ^^

But with koto finishing, and my regular habit of getting exited for St Patrick's day around this time of year, I think im back on track! I'll do my best with ITM on my viola. Looks like there isn't much support for the idea, but I believe in it! I'd also like to FINALLY try Irish flute as well, still love the sound!
