I thought I should drop you a line as I've not heard from you for a while, and I can wish you a happy new year at the same time. I hope you are keeping well.

I've been on the O'Carolan Harp Festival website and recorded the dates for this years event, and then added them into the group information for the Tradconnect Carolan group. I will add them to the wider events page as well. I thought it a good time to do this as, no doubt, many people are planning their holidays at the moment. I can't promise anything yet, but I might try and make the festival myself this year.

Just a quick line - something tells me you will be busy at the moment! - I just wanted to wish you a happy and successful festival. Sadly I'm stuck in England where I am only too well aware of the tunes and craic that I will be missing out on!

When the dust has settled, maybe you could post a "match report" on Tradconnect for us? any photo's or video clips would be particularly welcome - lets see if we can boost your attendance for next year! - speaking of next year, let me have the dates when you have them and I'll update the events diary on here etc etc
