Hi Simon,

I would suggest you email Dave Settles at dsettles@shaw.ca He puts on a Celtic Festival in June, and runs an Irish session in Calgary at the Joyce on Fourth pub on alternate Saturdays. There's another session at the Oak Tree Tavern in Kensington that plays every Sunday from 4 p.m to 7ish, and it's members are very advanced Irish trad players. The two people who run this session are recently from Ireland - David Morrissey and Emilie Kirwan. Hope to meet you when you come to Calgary!
