I have written lyrics to Brian MacNeill's beautiful aire "Peace and Plenty". I tried to secure permission to use this music (from his website) but have not received any reply. I know with some of the older trad songs different lyrics were used for the same music ("Wait a minute,....isn't that the music for Foggy Dew"??? or,..."Isn't that the music for The Lakes of Pontchartrain???"). Although this may be different, I would still like to be able to perform and record my "lyrical…Continue

Our thanks to tradconnect for such an opportunity!
We would like to wish Connie a safe…Continue

What a start to the year we have had here on Tradconnect. In late 2011 we started doing album reviews as a way of helping SEO, providing original content and supporting member albums and it has turned into quite a success. While we may struggle in the near future to review everything that comes through our doors, for now we are covering it. If we can't do a full review we will still be able to feature what we receive, so if you want to be included please keep sending your CD's in to us and…Continue
