Traditional Irish Music
Recently I have been reflecting on my quarter century of involvement with Irish traditional music in Washington DC (USA), first as a set dancer and festival organizer, and later as a flute player. My thoughts got too long for a Facebook status update or a blog post, and eventually a book emerged. Friends check this out. This was shared by trad player Michael Curran and it covers a lot of topics including the revival of Sean Nos dancing. Very informative.
