Traditional Irish Music
I have a keyless 'D' concert flute by Sam Murray in the making, and it's 14 days overdue delivery.
I was concerned and didn't get a reply to my mails so phoned Sam yesterday. He explained to me that his son/s do all the internet/mail communication, and Sean was away at the moment, hence no answer to my mails.

There is a kind of glow that happens when you meet a new friend. There is a sense of anticipation and wonder. We always start somewhere the way we end. TradConnect is like that. It is a community of musicians and music lover promoting traditional Irish music.
It came as a surprise when Tony posted a link on my blog. I always try to click on the profile of whoever has contributed their thoughts. Then I saw this site. Nanvigating is easy, and links are all placed just under the…Continue

My name is Emily, and I play the fiddle, mandolin, and some guitar. I play some Irish music, and really enjoy listening to it.
I am the 6th child of 10. I live out in the country, love being outside, and during the summer, I enjoy swimming a lot. I am learning to ride horses at my neighbor's, and am also helping her to train one of her green-broke horses. Once a month, my sisters and I play music for the hymns at Church. I am very devoted the the Lord, and am extremely…Continue

If you or anyone you know, might be interested in this flute, you can let them know either.
If you send me a message on TradConnect, we can take it from there! Cheers for your time.

So if you are looking for some less familiar tunes for your repertoire, you might like to check them out.
Although I launched this site with a few studio recordings, with me playing a C/G Concertina, I really love playing the more…Continue

The year kicked off with intensive practicing, arranging, composing and recording for and exiting new fiddle based band project entitled "The Strideset" which is headed up by Trish Clarke and Meabh O Hare.
My role has been putting the guitar and bouzouki rhythm and riff ideas to the colouful tunes of the band!.....its going great so far and we have a 4 track demo just out of the mixing stage for…Continue
