Myles (Tin Whistle) O'Malley and His Orchestra - The Morning Star/The Ships Are Sailing (reels)

Myles O'Malley became known as the Tin Whistle King in the 1930s and led his own successful band during the period.

Born in 1910 to Irish parents in Massachusetts, O'Malley was an avid saxophone player before he picked up the whistle. He performed with the Truman Carew Big Band from Boston after graduating from high school. New vocal track from Solas called Silver Dagger

Here is a newly released vocal from Solas who are presently on tour in Japan. They say they "recorded it in hotel rooms and backstage areas while on tour in America in the winter of 2014.

It features Noriana Kennedy on vocals and Mari Nakamura on harmony vocals". Mari is based in Japan where she recorded her parts.
