Accordion Awareness Month: Patrick Lynch, 1920s Irish American accordion player

As many of the box aficionados out there will know, June is accordion awareness month. To aid the cause, we here at the Ward Irish Music Archives in Milwaukee have been posting some accordion related material and links to help the cause.

This week we digitized an Edison Diamond Disc recorded by accordionist Patrick Lynch in 1924. Lynch recorded several sides in the 1920s and was a member of Louis E. Quinn and His Shamrock Minstrels. You can read more about him and listen to the tracks over on our website: http://irishfest.com/Music-Archives/Digital-Material/Patrick-Lynch-...

Enjoy!
