Album of the Month June 2013 - Sylvain Barou, Dónal Lunny, Pádraig Rynne / Triad

Our Album of the Month for June 2013 features three well know names in Irish music. Triad is a new collaboration between Dónal Lunny, Pádraig Rynne, and Sylvain Barou, three leading lights in the traditional world. Dónal needs no introduction having been a founding member of Planxty, the Bothy Band and Moving Hearts.  Pádraig Rynne and Sylvain Barou have collaborated as part of Guidewires.
Pádraig Rynne is regarded as one of the finest concertina players in the country and Sylvain has succeeded in developing as an Irish traditional musician as well as in other traditions including those of Greece, Turkey Persia and India. They met up on the busy international circuit with their musical relationship developing into this album. Guests include Jacques Pellen - 12 string guitar, John McSherry - Uileann Pipes and Tóla Custy - Fiddle.
