Traditional Irish Music
For anyone that missed the recent Begley & Cooney concert that was broadcast on February 13th its available at the moment online. It was broadcast as part of the Tunes in the Church series and received a very positive response. They also streamed it live on Concert Window with production, sound and lighting as good as our national broadcaster. For Concert Window it represented their biggest traditional concert to date and showed what can really be achieved. It wasn't all clean rehearsed sets either from Begley & Cooney. Their onstage interaction was priceless as they discussed sets, keys and what was coming up, paying respects to some recently departed friends along the way. This really brought out the live element in the proceedings. So well worth the watch to see these two masters doing what they do best. We understand it was a pilot broadcast so lets hope it leads to some more live streamed Tunes in the Church gigs over the summer.
