Well the Bernard's Summer School in Prague, Czech Republic did not disappoint! Hugely enjoyable time there. The interest in our Irish culture was overwhelming. Wednesday night saw John Byrne, Mark Swaine and I provide the live music for the Céilí evening at KC Novodvorská where the audience and dancers cheered us to play an encore at the end of the night. The next few days saw us playing some sessions with the students and friends of the school. Friday saw us providing the live music for the Céilí, Step, Sean-Nós and Set-Dancing classes at the Final Concert in Ponec Theatre. Overall a great time and fantastic to see such passion being shown abroad for everything Irish. A huge thanks especially to Tereza Bernardova and Vaclav Bernard for inviting us over and for providing such warm hospitality.
