Ceol na Coille Irish Music Summer School 2014, Letterkenny, Co Donegal

Ceol na Coille will host its annual Summer School of Irish Traditional Music in Letterkenny, Co Donegal 21st-25th July. We welcome Irish Music enthusiasts of all ages and abilities from Ireland and abroad for this weeklong celebration of Irish Music. Some of the country's finest performers and teachers will be on hand to deliver tuition and recitals in what will be a great week of music and fun for all. 

 

The Summer School provides tuition in Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Uilleann Pipes, Piano & Button Accordion, Concertina, Whistle/Flute and Harp for Intermediate and Advanced musicians.

The weeklong Summer School also provides Beginner classes for 9yrs & over -  (Mixed instrumental classes. A fun way to start on your chosen instrument) and our Introduction to Irish Music Class for 6-8yr olds -

 (Designed to introduce your child to Irish Traditional Music in a relaxed and enjoyable participative workshop. Instruments Provided)

 

We are delighted to be working this year with the Earagail Arts Festival in delivering an exciting week of music. Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, small group or family our programme offers you the opportunity to partake in sessions, concerts and recitals and to experience traditional Irish music in an authentic and intimate setting.
