Traditional Irish Music
Hi all. My debut album "Klangzauber" (it means "Magic Sounds" and was released in 2002) is now available at iTunes. 14 tracks with mainly guitar music and a few whistle tracks.
The video below is a full track from "Klangzauber" (2 reels played on guitar). The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Marcus Praed - guitarist and sound engineer from the world famous band "Tito and Tarantula" and a very old friend of mine.
On "Klangzauber" you can hear wonderful acoustic guitar music (11 tracks), which was inspired by Irish music, music from the middle age, harp music and a little bit gypsy jazz ("Rules"). You can also hear 3 tracks with tin whistle music with a strong Irish traditional background and Celtic rock backround (track 14 "Dance").
Most of the music was composed by myself and also you can hear 3 Irish traditionals and the well known reel "The flowers of Brooklyn" (track 1), composed by Bill McComiskey and played in a wonderful guitar arrangement. If you like to buy a copy of "Klangzauber", please write a mail to olaf-sickmann@gmx.net
Hope you like the music, Cheers, Olaf
