Féile Frank Mc Gann Festival of Irish Traditional Music - 12th - 14th October

The Féile Frank Mc Gann memorial festival of Irish traditional music, song and dance starts today 12th October and runs until 14th October 2012, in Strokestown, Co. Roscommon.  The ongoing success of the festival is due to the fact that Frank Mc Gann was a widely known and charismatic figure in Irish Music.  Several thousand people attended the many events over the weekend last year, to enjoy a host of top musicians and dancers. This year’s festival, the tenth anniversary celebrating the life and times of frank McGann, promises to be as exciting as the previous ones and they are in the process of putting together an exciting line-up of musicians and singers. So if you are in the mood for some more music get on down there. This years programme includes
