First listen to 'From Camden to Tulla' featuring Andrew Mac Namara, Karen Ryan & Pete Quinn

This is a first listen to a new album that will feature Andrew Mac Namara (accordion), Karen Ryan (fiddle) and Pete Quinn (piano) due for release in July 2017. The album is called 'From Camden to Tulla'. Andrew Mac Namara and Karen first met and played music together at the Feakle Festival in 1991. Over the 25 years since then, they’ve played together on and off in Feakle, Galway and London. They have recently been joined by Karen’s husband, Liverpool pianist Pete Quinn, and the trio have played some high-powered sessions as part of the Feakle Festival at Pepper’s Bar each August.

This prompted their decision to record an album in Andrew’s house over two days in February 2017. Andrew, Karen and Pete have each previously recorded a number of solo and group albums.

Lovely! I hope radio copies will be mailed out or that we download it for our shows. Andrew is one of my favorite box players. Best of luck with the release!
